Children attend the Children Becoming Buddhist Monks ceremony at a Chogye temple on Friday in Seoul, South Korea, ahead of Buddha’s birthday. The children will stay at the temple for 14 days to learn about Buddhism. Buddha was born about 2,557 years ago and his official birthday is celebrated on the full moon in May in South Korea, which falls on May 17 this year.
