The largest mechanical puppet made in Britain. 英國製造的最大的機械木偶

The giant 12-metre tall Man Engine is unveiled to the public in Tavistock on July 25, 2016 in Devon, England. Claimed to be the largest mechanical puppet made in Britain, standing at three times the height of a double decker bus, it has been created to mark the tenth anniversary of the date when the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape was added to the Unesco list of World Heritage Sites. Starting today it will journey to the the mining world heritage sites accompanied by more than a dozen “miners” and traditional 'bal-maidens' who have the job of animating the steam-powered giant.
