 People from the ethnic Yi minority celebrate with visitors during their Torch Festival in Xichang, Sichuan province. Around 180,000 people participated in the celebration which originated from a legend that an ethnic Yi hero earned harvest for his folks by leading them to kill off pests with fire in the ancient time.
