A Russian court ordered 20 Greenpeace protestors from around the world to be held in custody for two months pending further investigation over a protest against offshore oil drilling in the Arctic.

Supporters of group Greenpeace activists hold pictures of prisoners in Russia during demonstrations in Mexico, Ukraine, Russia, Brazil and elsewhere. The Russian court remand sent to 22 of the 30 Greenpeace activists arrested on Arctic waters while trying to chain themselves to an oil rig, said the court Leninskii Murmansk city.
