Elderly Indians take part in celebrations to mark the International Day of Older Persons at a home in Ahmadabad, India, on Tuesday. Much of the world is unprepared for the ballooning population of elderly people, including many of the fastest-aging countries, according to a global study to be released by the UN and a rights group for the elderly.
