A protester against the government-backed amnesty bill shouts slogans as she joins others in a rally at Ratchaprasong intersection, in the heart of Bangkok's main shopping district. Protesters gathered to rally against a bill, which critics say is an attempt by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to whitewash the crimes of her brother, former premier Thaksin Shinawatra, and bring him home without facing a two-year jail term handed down in 2008 for graft.
