 In a photo taken Dec. 4 and distributed today, Xiao Wei's severed right hand is seen attached to his ankle before reattachment surgery at Xiangya Hospital in Changsha, China. Xiao Wei's hand was cut off in an accident during his work at a factory and was grafted to his leg for a month before the reattachment surgery. (Xiangya Hospital, Central South University)
