Children holding plates wait in line to receive food at an orphanage run by a non-governmental organization in the southern Indian city of Chennai on May 28, which is World Hunger Day. The day is intended to raise awareness for the 842 million people who are living below the poverty line. The Global Poverty Project is challenging fundraisers around the world to live on $1.50 a day for five days.
