China inicia impresionante festival de hielo y nieve. Los artistas extraen gigantes bloques de hielo directamente desde el río Songhua para ser tallados y darles la forma deseada. Como cada año Harbin, una localidad en China, celebra el Festival de Escultura de Nieve y Hielo, un popular evento que dura un mes y comienza oficialmente cada cinco de enero. Estas sorprendentes esculturas son posibles gracias a las temperaturas extremas que se dan en la zona donde se llega a registrar hasta 38 grados bajo cero. (REUTER, AFP) - See more at:
