Lawmakers fight each other on the legislature floor in Taipei, Taiwan on Friday. They exchanged punches and threw water ahead of an expected vote authorising a referendum on whether to go ahead with the construction of a fourth power plant. The pro-referendum forces of President Ma Ying-jeou’s ruling Nationalist party were pitted against anti-nuclear forces affiliated with the main opposition Democratic Progressive party.
