One minute silence at the Elysee Palace
General Secretary of the Elysee Palace Jean-Pierre Jouyet and the Elysee Palace staff observe a minute of silence for victims of the shooting at the Paris offices of weekly satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday, at the Elysee Palace in Paris. France began a day of mourning for the journalists and police officers shot dead on Wednesday morning by black-hooded gunmen using Kalashnikov assault rifles. The slogan reads “I am Charlie”.
