A slice of politics
Pizza Express has created pizzas showing portraits of the leaders of the main political parties (left to right David Cameron, Ed Miliband and Nick Clegg) to celebrate this year’s General Election campaign. The prime minister’s portrait uses 89 olives to illustrate his customary dark suit and three stems of asparagus for his tie, while the deputy PM’s image uses a variety of peppers in his party colours. The leader of the opposition’s pizza portrait features Labour’s party colour using chillies, red peppers, cherry tomatoes and pepperoni
