Hail can be a pretty serious emergency, with some hailstones big enough to smash windows. The biggest ever recorded fell on Vivian, South Dakota in 2010 – it was 20cm across, or as big as a honeydew melon! This picture was taken during a hailstorm that hit the game between Sri Lanka v West Indies at Sher-e-Bangla Mirpur Stadium during the ICC World Twenty20 on 3 April 2014 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
