During the carnival of Alsasua young Momotxorros dressed in skins and horns roam the streets of the village of Alsasua, Spain on Feb. 9, 2016. The momotxorro is a character of unknown origin and is half man and half bull.The carnival disappeared in the 1930s, but recovered in 1990, and this did not please the elderly locals, as the memory of those characters was linked to stories of looting, theft and even sexual assault.
