Pilgrims participate in the Qoyllur Rit'i religious festival, more than 1000 kms southeast from Lima, Peru on July 28, 2016. Quyllur Rit'i or Star Snow Festival is a spiritual and religious festival held annually at the Sinakara Valley in the Cusco Region of Peru. Groups of Quero indigenous people climb Ausangate Mountain, at 6362m, in search of the Snow Star which is reputedly buried within the mountain.
