Tara, la gata de California que se convirtió en una sensación en YouTube después de ser captada en video salvando a un niño del ataque de un perro, fue invitada a “lanzar” la primera pelota en un juego de beisbol de las Ligas Menores,  del equipo Bakersfield Blaze.  El video mostró a un perro arrastrando a Jeremy, de 4 años, de su triciclo en el camino de entrada de su casa en Bakersfield, California.  Tara, la gata de la familia, corrió al rescate, se precipitó contra el costado del canino y lo alejó de Jeremy.
