Brazil drought
The Atibainha dam in Brazil, part of the Cantareira reservoir, has been hit by a drought in Nazare Paulista, Sao Paulo state. It is the area’s worst drought in 80 years and has left the Cantareira system, which provides greater Sao Paulo with most of its water, with the lowest water level on record.
