Thousands of people gathered in New Yorks Central Park to make a peace sign.) Thousands of people gathered in New Yorks Central Park on Tuesday (OCT 6) to create a giant human peace sign. The event took place to commemorate what would have been John Lennons 75h birthday. Led by Yoko Ono, more than 2,000 students, activists and politicians decided to Come Together and create the massive symbol. The event was organised by the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, a non-profit company that offers students opportunities to make music and produce videos for free. (Caters News)

Si no hubiera sido asesinado, este viernes John Lennon hubiera cumplido 75 años y para festejarlo, su segunda esposa, la artista plástica, Yoko Ono, organizó un evento en el que se haría el mayor signo de “amor y paz” creado con personas en Central Park. Con este acto, la viuda del ex Beatle quería romper un récord. Sin embargo, según la organización Guinness, se necesitaban al menos 5.000 integrantes formando el símbolo.
